I received a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. I am a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).
I work primarily from the Modern Analytic perspective, but draw from other approaches as well, including cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, and psychodynamic theory. I have experience working with a variety of life experiences, including divorce, health issues, addiction, infertility, parenting challenges and career dilemmas (learn about my own career switch here).
I am actively engaged in ongoing training in current therapeutic approaches, including ongoing participation in local and national group trainings, and ongoing study at the Center for Group Studies in New York, NY.
